Once upon a time I was a indentured Plumber. In my day plumbing still had strong connections to ancient crafts and elements of Lead and Copper wrought by fire and water. Working with hand tools to solve practical problems and creating a physical legacy has been an enduring feature of my life. I like working with natural products to keep old skills.

I am largely self taught but I have been lucky enough to have had instruction from a number of craftsman, some gave ot freely others charged. There is common language in handling tools and materials. They fall to hand quite naturally for me. I get inspired by all kinds of things which leads down interesting paths.
